Migraine Study – Accepting New Participants

Just about everyone gets headaches. But a migraine is not just a bad headache. It can be an extremely incapacitating collection of symptoms, and can include:

  • Severe throbbing or pulsating sensations, usually on one side of the head
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Extreme sensitivity to light and sound
  • Blurred vision

Although there are many treatment options available, they do not work for everyone and can sometimes cause unwanted side effects.

Right now, research and healthcare professionals at select centers in the US are conducting a new migraine clinical study that may be able to help. The study is for an investigational oral medication. If you are 18 years or older, average between 2-8 migraine attacks per month, are taking an oral CGRP inhibitor (such as Ubrelvy™ or Nurtec®) and if those medications aren’t providing adequate relief from symptoms, you may be eligible to participate. If you choose to participate, you will receive study-related care at no cost from a local specialist and may receive compensation for your time and travel.
